Supported Independent Living

At First Support Services, our Supported Independent Living (SIL) in Queensland is designed to help participants live a confident, independent, and fulfilling life. We take the time to understand each person’s goals and needs, ensuring the home they choose truly supports their lifestyle. We can help you fin your ideal home, and explore one of our vacancies, , our team is here to provide caring, reliable, and person‑centred assistance. Guided by our values of Caring, Courage, Confidence, and Responsibility, we work alongside you to build daily living skills, maintain your independence, and create a safe and comfortable home where you can thrive.

Community Access

At First Support Services, our Community Access support in Queensland is all about helping participants connect with the world around them while building independence, confidence, and meaningful relationships. We work alongside each person to explore activities they enjoy such as shopping, social events, sports, hobbies, appointments, or simply getting out and about. Our support workers provide guidance with kindness and respect, ensuring every outing is safe, enjoyable, and centred around the participant’s goals. Whether it’s learning new skills, building friendships, or becoming more involved in the community, we are here to support individuals to live life the way they choose. At FirstSS, we believe that from Caring comes Courage, and we are committed to empowering participants to thrive in their community.

IN HOME CARE

In Home Care

At First Support Services, our In‑Home Care in Queensland is designed to support participants to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. We work alongside individuals to provide personalised assistance with daily tasks such as personal care, cleaning, meal preparation, and household routines, always respecting their choices and preferred way of living. Our support workers build strong, trusting relationships with participants; taking the time to truly listen, understand their goals, and empower them to maintain confidence and control over their day‑to‑day life. Guided by our values of Caring, Courage, Confidence, and Responsibility, we are committed to delivering reliable, person‑centred support that helps participants live life the way they choose within the comfort of their home.

COMMUNITY CENTRE

Day Centre Community Hub

First Support Services is excited to announce that our brand‑new Day Centre is opening soon in Ipswich, QLD. This welcoming space has been designed to support participants to build confidence, form friendships, and enjoy meaningful, skill‑building experiences. Our Ipswich Day Centre will offer a wide range of engaging programs including Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Life Skills Development, Drama, Music, Games Day, Gardening, Sports & Recreation, and Community Outings. Each program is created with our core values at heart; supporting participants with kindness, empowering them to try new things, and helping them develop independence in a fun and inclusive environment. From Caring comes Courage, and we can’t wait to welcome participants into a vibrant space where they can learn, grow, and thrive every day.
